The Rising

Before Us All formed in 2011, after Guitarist Michael Morawetz and Drummer Christoph Berger decided to follow their hearts and leave their old band “Burn My Blackened Eyes“ behind. At first they had emulated their idols from the thrash scene, but then something completely new was to be created. Before Us All is a radical commitment to your own identity, your own path and your own vision of fucking headbanging metal!

The power start

Guitarist Michael Morawetz is now in the front row to shout his own definition of contemporary metal vocals around the world. Drummer Christoph Berger develops his idiosyncratic style, which is characterized not at least by his uncompromising arrangements. At the same time, the two look for the hardest bass player in Central Europe in all possible and impossible places – and finally found the last missing puzzle piece by the name of Thomas Roithmayr through an advertisement. The three will soon no longer only share a passion for brutal riffs, growling basses and inexorable and uncompromising double-bass-storms, but also a deep friendship.

After the struggle is right before the struggle

Before „Before Us All” hit the studio, they bring a second guitarist, Thomas Haider, on board to complete the classic metal line-up. Afterwards, sessions for the debut „Revelations“ are marked by internal tensions and musical differences. After Thomas Haider left the band, Before Us All did two more line-up changes with Thomas Hirsch and Andreas Thalhammer. Just to finally realize that the three of them have everything they need to set up a full board. The band has finally found its destination.

Austria’s back on the Metal Map!!!

The declared mission is to become the hardest metal trio in the world. The way to reach that goal is Bang-o-cracy. As a starting point for the new album „Deceptions“, the Furious Three had decided on recording only material with which each individual can identify 120%. And you can definitely hear that – in their new long player Deceptions as well as in the rock-hard live gigs of the Trio Infernale. Before Us All are stronger today than ever before, push uncompromisingly like there is no tomorrow and finally let Austrian Metal arrive back in the present …
